WELCOME TO THE 2017 NORTHERN UNIVERSITY GAMES

This event is for university and TAFE students from Queensland and northern New South Wales and is one of four regional unigames events held each year on the same week in July. Australian University Sport is proud to be partnered with Rockhampton Regional Council, Livingstone Shire Council and Central Queensland University to bring the Northern University Games to Rockhampton / Yeppoon in 2017.

Since its inception, the Northern University Games has been provided a friendly but competitive environment for student athletes from all over Queensland, Northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory to engage and participate in sport. Owned by Australian University Sport (AUS), the peak governing body of university sport in Australia, the Games are a key event on the university sporting calendar for competing universities and TAFE institutions.

Recognised as the perfect opportunity for student athletes to compete in a participation based event against like minded students from across the northern region, the Games has built up a reputation as an event not to be missed, attracting up to 2,000 competitors each year.
