Beach Volleyball is a team sport with mixed fours competition. Mixed fours competition requires teams to field a minimum of four (4) players.
Beach Volleyball is not a qualification sport at the Australian University Games and as such teams do not need to qualify at their regional university games event.

Format will include pool and progression matches. Final competition formats will be decided following the close of entries.

Venue
The Beach Volleyball competition will be held at Rockhampton Indoor Sports Arena, 37 Hollingsworth Street, Kawana, Rockhampton.
