Tennis is an individual sport played across men's and women's competitions, and matches are played in the pro set format.
Tennis is not a qualification sport for the Australian University Games and as such individuals do not need to qualify at their Regional University Games event.
Draws for tennis were available online a week prior to NUGs.

Format will include pool and progression matches. Final competition formats will be decided following the close of entries.

Venue
The Tennis competition will be held at the Rockhampton Regional Tennis Centre, Lion Creek Road, Wandal, Rockhampton.
